What I Believe

This photo was taken of me almost a year and a half ago (September 26th 2016) on my 50th birthday. I decided on that day that there is nothing more important than courage.

I was inspired by a quote from the late  Steve Jobs, who spoke at the commencement ceremony of Stanford University in 2005:

Almost everything- all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure- these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

I decided that I had no more time to waste. I committed to setting courage as my compass and choosing courage whenever I can in my life.

I believe these three things about #Courage

  1. Everything important in life starts with courage
  2. When in doubt, always move towards courage
  3. Courage leads to confidence and a joyful life.

It’s our time to shine. Let’s make it so,

and Courageously Go!
